Please pray for those affected by the devastating flooding in Nepal and Tibet.
Working alongside our partners, HOPE worldwide Nepal and HOPE worldwide Global Disaster Response, HOPE worldwide Canada will be sending an initial batch of funds to meet immediate needs identified by local partners, including clean water, food supplies, medicines, and tarpaulins. Displaced families are currently sheltering in relief camps, including sites at army grounds and local community locations.
We are anticipating that more assistance will be required as our partners visit the affected areas and continue their needs assessments, with particular concern for children who have lost parents, as well as elderly individuals and pregnant women.
