The account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego epic battle with King Nebuchadnezzar is truly inspiring. We see people who would not trade their faith in God even if that faith or their bodies were set on fire. As it turns out the fire meant for destruction served to actually set them free and unbound their shackles. When people intend to hurt God’s people He often uses it to greater good.
Our God is great. He is not liken to anyone and to think that God has ever lost control is foolish. God does not need to seek counsel or direction from anyone. Therefore even in difficult times as with Job when we see who God is, a spiritual reaction is to surrender, repent and deepen our faith in God.
What God do you think about in the mornings? As we investigate God we can answer why do we do the things that we do? When we realize how great God is we will see that He is worth our energy and time. We have more knowledge about God today than before. Do we comprehend God more with all these resources that we have? Is not about if we know God but it is about if we comprehend Him
God want all our hears and not lip service. When we think about all the blessings that God sends our way it demands that we are committed to him.
God said that the things he want to do for us is more than we can understand or imagine. We can’t have a life of victory unless we surrendered our lives over to God.
Our God expects reverence and respect from us as we enter his presence and spend time with him. Even though Jesus came and gave us confidence in going before the Lord, we need to continue to have a heart that respects and reveres him.
